May Menu: Nikkei Supper Club

nikkei cuisine originated in peru as a result of japanese migration. it is a natural fusion of cultures resulting in colourful beautiful food featuring a vast array of chillies, fruits and tamarind combined with japanese ingredients like nori, miso and soya. 

shiitaki enoki maki roll, aji amarillo 

sushi roll with roast shiitake, topped with tempura enoki served with yellow chilli mayonnaise

karaage bite, aji verde avocado cream

fried ginger soya plant chick’n, ginger teriyaki, avocado burnt chilli, cucumber lime salsa, pinck peppercorn in a baby gem cup

melon palmito tiradito nikkei 

a peruvian crudo preparation combined with japanese sashimi techniques, raw melon and palm hearts are marinaded in a sweet soy tamarind dressing and finished with togarashi spice

anticucho repollo

skewer of braised cabbage in smoky anticucho chilli marinade, red pepper chilli sauce, wasabi pea whipped tofu

saltadito de choclo

warm salad of corn, peppers and potato

arroz verde 

coriander infused rice with green chilli, peas and butternut squash

sandia jelly

refreshing watermelon lime jelly dusted with acidic chilli tajun spice

sesame namalaka

smooth dark chocolate and sesame mousse in a puddle of matcha custard topped with crisp toasted sesame miso tuille
